Umugini Pipeline Infrastructure Limited (UPIL) has once again shown itself to be a forward-thinking and socially responsible company by delivering food palliatives to the people of Eriemu community to cushion the effect of the lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The food items distributed include 29 bags of 50kg rice, 13 bags of 100kg beans, 2,450 pieces of face masks, 4,200 pieces of hand gloves.
Speaking on the palliatives distribution, the Managing Director of UPIL, Dr. Blessing Ayemhere said the organization decided to complement the efforts of the Federal Government and Delta State Government to alleviate the sufferings of the people of their Host Community due to the lockdown in the State.
UPIL is a Pipeline Infrastructure company that handles and transports stabilized crude oil on behalf of other oil and gas producing companies to crude oil terminal facilities downstream.
