UPIL Pipeline Facilities
Our operations facility is downstream of the Umusadege – Eriemu export pipeline, which connects the Kwale GGF to our state-of-the-art fiscalization and custody transfer point at Eriemu with fully operational SCADA control systems and functioning since 2014. This export pipeline delivers value in the form of crude transportation to our clients from the Kwale GGF facility, a modern pumping station owned and operated by our parent company, Midwestern Oil and Gas. This GGF control centre manages our pumping operation and hydraulic controls for the pipeline network. On the other hand, the state-of-the-art Eriemu Metering Station receives the transported crude for fiscal measurement before passing off the product to the Trans Forcados pipeline (TFP) en-route the Forcados Oil Terminal (FOT). UPIL is the first indigenous company to certify its Coriolis Meter with the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR).
