Adeche Omotosho-Oboro is a seasoned professional with a career spanning over two decades in the oil and gas industry. 

Mr. Omotosho-Oboro holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos, a master’s degree in business administration from the prestigious Business School, Netherlands. He is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE), a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), a Fellow of the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (FAER) and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Mr. Omotosho-Oboro commenced his professional journey in the oil and gas sector in 1995 with Shell Petroleum Development Company. He worked in several SPDC operated oil and gas fields until 2009 when he joined Midwestern Oil & Gas Co. Limited as a Senior Operations Supervisor swiftly ascending the ranks to the position of Asset Manager in 2014.

He successful steered the asset and team to attain the feat of the highest producing marginal field in Nigeria before he moved on to assume the position of Chief Technical Officer of Midwestern where he supervised the company’s upstream and midstream activities. 

He joined the Board of Umugini Pipeline Infrastructure Limited in 2023 and was recently appointed as the Acting MD/CEO. In addition to his role, Mr. Omotosho-Oboro serves as an alternate director of the FOT associates under the aegis of Independent Petroleum Producers’ Group (IPPG). 

Mr. Omotosho-Oboro brings to UPIL extensive operations and technical experience garnered over the years as an advisor in high profile transactions that have occurred in Nigeria in recent years.
