Festus Tyger holds a Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Gas Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Petroleum Option) from Niger Delta University and Master’s in Business Administration with the University of South-Wales, UK.
He started his career in 2009 as a Metering Engineer, where he handled several metering projects. He also worked and took consulting role in several organizations in the area of custody transfer and hydrocarbon accounting, instrumentation, process and control systems, LACT unit commissioning operations and maintenance, fabrication process and engineering design, document control and planning, quality safety and performance management.
He joined UPIL in 2015 with the pioneering team and played a significant role in the certification and operations of UPIL LACT unit. He is currently an Operations and Maintenance Supervisor.
He is a professional member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), corporate member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)
Festus is married with a son and family oriented. He is a creative, dynamic, passionate and experienced metering expert. A driver of improvement in operational excellence, result-oriented performance and maximum utilization of available resources.
